Me and Mrs tmh last week at the soldier statue. Its part of the Back Bay bike path here in Orange County. Nice day I ride the fixed gear, (wheels are vintage) when we go together since I can't coast so it keeps us more even on speed. She has a no name steel frame upgraded to 8 speed Sora STI and wheels I built because she had to have shiny rims.

Last pic is my entry level Gitane, AFAIK, I got for high school graduation. Low end but I loved it.

Me and my now 4-year old up by Exit Glacier in my wife's homestate. Our eldest dragged her back down the trail that day insisting he had to use the bathroom by the parking lot. He did not....

I don't know about staged photos of kids, toys and bikes. Here's my then-four year-old son on his big wheel. Note the strangled pink kitty cat hanging from the handlebars.

He now rides a Huffy with a bright red basket on the front, so his little animals can come with him. Took me forever to find a boy-appropriate one (turned out to be a girl-appropriate one with removable ruffles). Kids like to take toys with them. The flag thing would totally happen at our house, too. My son is obsessed with flags.

I'm kinda new around here but have already made a few friends so I will post a few pics.
Quick Bio...45, married 23yrs, 3 kids, 3 cats and I really don't know how many bikes. Worked for Europa Cycles(Waterloo IA) and Sunshine Cycles(Hudson, IA) through college also raced USCF for both shops. Clawed, scratched and lied my way up through middle management of a fortune 500 company and at age 40...QUIT! Walked away head high. Enrolled in truck driving school and have been driving a semi for the last 5 years. I'm a very happy person and quite a joker. Ok now on to what this thread is about ...

This pic is of my daughter and her Specialized, her BF on his BMC and me on my Allez.

This pic is me with my Pinarello and the Allez (in the van).

Me on my SS Gary Fisher hoo koo e koo

Last pic is my 1992 MK2 Jetta and my Trek ST 120. A lot of people know me by my cars, I am the founder of Clear Water Dubs a local VW Club. Side Note..I got "Top 25" at this show.

California Dreamin'

From another ride on the American River Bike Trail --1/27/11

For those of you getting hammered this winter, this too shall
pass.

The bicycle is a '73 (?) Raleigh Competition recently passed
to me in a swap from its original owner, who after all these
years finally had to admit to himself that it was just too big
a frame for him. (I have had similar issues in my own life.)

Truly, it is an ill wind that blows no one some good.

I drive an '85 Wolfsburg Cabby. We often drop the top and fill the back seat with bikes for your weekend rides.. Nice work on the downsizing. Truckers are good people.

My '86 Wolfsburg (sold to another club member) and my "Baby" '91 Etienne Aigner. The Aigner is only 1 of 752 made in that color worldwide and 1 of 399 imported to the U.S.

^ Yeah, well, we played 'Stray Cat Strut' a couple times but it didn't really cook (no lead guitar). That photo probably catches us in the chorus of 'Surfin Safari.'
