Ha ha - my cat Sacha does the same thing! You've got a beauty of a longhair there. And the Moto? Every time I see that bike I want it - exactly as it is. I seriously wouldn't change a thing.

My sweetie Sharon and me, Cape Cod a few weeks ago, bundled up against the cold and a fierce wind. The bike is the '82 Peugeot I rebuilt last winter.

Not C&V, but I like lurking here and decided to post in this thread. I do have C&V bike that I haven't had time or money to get in rideable condition, though. It is a 1979 Motobecane Mirage.

Here's me:

Thanks, put a couple thousand miles on it this year. Arrowhead lugged mid-level Columbus frame by Dutchman Peter van de Klundert in '84 or '85, build by Belgian shop Hakima with full Campy SR gruppo. I really like the feel of the tubular wheel set.

Here I am at the end of the Pan Mass Challenge, a two day charity ride raising money for cancer research. This year (last week in fact) we delivered a check for $35 million to the Dana Farber. (www.pmc.org).

Great thread, now i have seen you all

I am going to start with my first racing bike ever. It is a picture taken of a family book picture (no scanner available). My grandpa picked it from the neighbors garbage when i was about four or five years old (in 1981/82). My mom told me, he spend some serious time on it like rebuilding the wheels and so on. Afterwards my grandma painted it that nice blue color. It almost looked like a stayer bike with that fork.
I really wish i would still owe it, so i could give it to my son when he is the right age.

Kilian

P.S. I am going to add an actual picture too, i just have to take one

A nice project to initiate yourself into C&V bikes. French bikes are always attention-getters.

Here is a couple of the offspring and I(on the trusty LeJeune) at the Northern Neck RiverRide in September. My inlaws live in the village that serves lunch for the English Century riders. Note the way the kids are strategically placed to hide the gut! If anyone in the Mid Atlantic region is looking for a laid back, easy going ride/weekend this might be the one for you.

Here's a shot of me at an important stop on this year's Ragbrai. Saddle and handlebar tape have since been replaced.

Just pulled this one from the family archive over the holidays. Me on my Look in the foreground, circa 1987. Anyone else remember banana stickers on the helmets (rims, etc.)?
