My first restoration- a 1972-ish Schwinn Collegiate. My neighborhood bike.
Collegiate.jpg
My first real go-fast bike.
Merckx.jpg
My husband (center) and I after he promoted one of his students (left). My husband and I met on the mat and it's still one of my favorite places to spend time with him.

Just got my first set of rollers.
Not pretty right now as a mater of fact I am pretty drunk.
And these things are not easy to get going on.
I feel like I need training wheels to get going.
Whats up with these things!

^ Your cat looks impressed
Rollers are mainly for warmups - supposedly you can't really get too much of a workout on them because most people can't sustain the concentration needed to stay up on them for an extended period of time. But boy oh boy, do they ever help you smooth out your pedal stroke (IOT smoothly ride on rollers, you have to be very economical with your body's movements, hence you develop a fluidity that translates to the real road).
Cool pic - and a good way to keep away from the long arm of the law after imbibing a few

You talkin' about the Carlo Rossi or the Fanta?
Just make sure you land on the cat. That'll cushion your fall.

The top of the Cascades, just after biking about 30 miles literally all uphill. First big hill on my cross-country bike trip.

You gonna eat that?
And then there's me.

^Judging by the shadows it looks real to me. I think it is more of a quick toss, take picture and then catch move. Awesome picture, better than the 2 handed version.

Back in college when I first rode a set, my buddy set them up in a doorway so I could hold on to the jambs as needed to get started. Kind of like training wheels for the beginner.

Nah. I don't know if she has kids, but if she does she can carry the bike like that, a squirming toddler, and two bags of groceries at least three blocks.

Would be cool the have an album with everyone doing a pose like that (even though most people would fear droping their bike).
