This is all I could find

No photos of me on my classics I'm afraid. Me off to my graduation having a laugh on my stolen saint, bit of an odd pic but I usually ride solo and own a sh@t1y phone with no camera... so no pics, just bent the bars on the riser too... the bike was new and needed a tightening hope its not too cringy

Who me? If so...
Not very (5'3", trike is quite small lol), not a clue it came with a job lot for less than £15 and it was/is a Capital, it's a fairly popular West German made folder here, nice shimano 3 speed is very simple and works great!

That one gonna be an all Zeus project WW? I've only seem one total Zeus build with the frames included in it, on here. That has been quite a while since it was running. Post up some pics of your newest showing the frame in the clear please.

Thank you. Added a '+' to your name in the list.

Now, tan or no tan, it's time to get out of the way and let us have a good look at that wonderful Zeus!

Here's the first thread: https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-vi...lvageable.html

This bicycle has been deemed a "Karma bike" (or something like that) by another person and so far it is certainly living up to it's billing. Sort of in the vein of the 'BF All Hands Effort'. Those involved so far include @Stevensb (who salvaged a frame not his size and shipped it), @gugie (who worked his metal magic tricks), @AZORCH (who provides the derailleurs). Anyone with excess Zeus parts for consideration? Most ebay Zeus prices are silly exorbitant.

I have wanted a Spanish addition to the stable, but having it come in this manner is very gratifying. And makes me appreciate the friends gained thru this forum.

Only green bike in the stable. My first ever with foil decals.

Karma bikes must be patient - so full Zeus may be a while, but already the Z derailleurs and shifters are enroute.

If the pedals on the Medici don't work out (the cage design has a strap loop that looks as though it will situate the strap buckle weirdly - I'll know after a proper test ride), they're yours.

I guess I've been hanging around here long enough now that it's time I added to this thread. Like a lot of others I'm usually the one behind the camera, so I don't have many shots of me with any of my bikes.

I do have this 1 though. It was taken about a year ago with a Diamondback mountain bike that I had picked up for cheap because it needed work. This was my first little test ride on it after getting it running again. I sold it a few weeks later for a nice profit

And this is my beloved #1 bike! My 1984 Centurion Elite GT

Your Centurion is very well thought out, nice looking bags and racks. The Brooks springer saddle fits the theme well also.
What size tires are you using, looks like about a 35 to my untrained, old eyes.

Thank you! It's been a labor of love since I found it last December. It was a barn find that had been sitting up for many many years.

Since giving it a complete overhaul and getting her back on the road I've been slowly upgrading it as my wallet will allow. I'd really like to get some fenders on it soon, and replace that foam handlebar wrap!

Something tells me your eyes may not be so untrained though... The tires are just cheap Kenda K40s in 27x1-3/8" (another thing I plan to upgrade in the future) but 1-3/8" works out to 34.925mm... Right on the money!!

Just a set of 60 y.o. Humanoid model Mark I eyeballs, equipped with a CNC optical quality ground and polished polycarbonate corrective bifocal plane lens paired at calculated optimal refractive angular distance separation.

(old man's eyes wearing bifocals )

Should be a great sll day rider.

Great description!!! That's got to be the most technical explanation of a pair of peepers with glasses I've ever heard!

I literally laughed out loud reading it. I feel like it's always a good thing to start the day off with a smile and a laugh, and your response got both out of me, so I'd just like to say thank you for brightening up my morning!

I recall your buildup of the Centurion; however, I had you pictured in my head as being middle-aged.

I had the same image of him, its refreshing having a young man building such well thought out C&V bikes. Careful there, you'll be listening to classic rock and wearing wool kit in a short while.

Hahaha! Nope, I'm only 26. I've just always been into older bikes and cars. Music too actually. In my late teens and early 20s I played in a classic rock cover band called "Nomad". (I'm a drummer) I had long straight hair down past the middle of my back in those days lol. We played mostly late '60s and early '70s classic rock. We once opened for The Marshall Tucker Band. They even asked us up on stage during their show to sing their hit song "Can't You See" with them! That was really cool!

Haha yeah I always get messed with for being so skinny. A couple of my nicknames include "Slim", and the more recent addition courtesy of my friend and neighbor who's in his late 70s "Hamgravy"

Ah, so you're a drummer too! Nice. Seems we've got similar tastes in many areas. Cars, music, bikes... Classic rock is so much fun to play. Bonham is the greatest.

Any man playing some of the late Toy Caldwell's songs is aces in my book, and great taste in his bicycles is just the final bolt in the last beam of the structural steel, Topping It Out.

Its certainly good to know a young man is so well grounded.

At The Lake Pepin 3-Speed Tour

I haven't had a decent image of myself to post here until now, really. So here I am at the Historic Anderson House in Wabasha, Minnesota, on the banks of Lake Pepin (in the Mississippi River).

This was my first weekend-long bike trip of the season, hence the severe sunburn.

And this was my mount for the `Tour:

Built over the long winter specifically for this event, it is as swift and beautiful as I had hoped.

I have 69 images from this weekend, after the first cull, and I will be posting them in the C&V section as I process them this week. It was a stellar event; ridden over the course of two days, and the weather was perfect - we had tailwinds both ways! How often does that happen?

New to the forum, but might as well just post a pic. Not that its very good. Blurry and all. But its the only pic I could find of me on one of my bikes. Its a Norwegian brand called Diamant (I believe there is a german one too?). 1980 model with Tange frame with Suntour and Dia Compe comps.
Taken by a friend while just cruising the city a nice summer day.

This is me on my 1980-something Gitane (Course??) on last week's L' Etape UK - I bought a more modern lightweight aluminium road bike for sportives, but end up putting the Gitane in the car more often than not as it's such a great bike to ride. The Gitane's pretty much original except for the cranks being retapped for the Look Arc pedals by me and a 6-speed block and Shimano rear derailleur fitted by the previous owner.

And this is my 1985 Peugeot Premiere - somewat more modded with Vuelta Typhoon wheels, a Chorus chainset, Look Arc pedals, and 9x2 Shimano gearing. Original seat post, bards, stem, and Weinmann brakes and levers though.
