A few weeks ago I did a 300km ride, the one with the castle (Muiderslot) in the background, I used my Gazelle because it has lights and I expected to finish quite late at night.
And last week I did a 200, with my 1992 Duell,

Good looking ride you have. I haven't seen to many Duell's.

What country are you in?

Well, his posting says Holland. Last time I checked that was considered a country, but maybe I misunderremember.

I like the pic with the castle in the background! I confess I've never heard of Duell. Can't say I'm especially knowledgeable about Dutch bikes, but somehow I seem to have acquired two Champion Mondial Gazelles. One isn't finished yet but I really like the complete one, 1986.

Here's forum member King Wheelie IV. He mostly lurks the C&V boards but I'm hoping he pipes in. Rides most everyday of the year, including inclement weather + snow cold winter.

On a ride last month, we both spotted a trio of vintage bikes for free on the curb. I advised to just take the mtb but temporarily stash in the nearby woods and pick it up later. Sure enough, all worked as planned, I had replacement thumb shifters and tires on hand, KW the 4th now has a tidy and simple workhorse.

Recent pic of him with golf clubs strapped on his back, ready to ride to his country club 15 miles away. He usually gets 18, but sometimes an additional nine holes round, then rides back!

A bike I ride a lot

A break at one of three state parks "close" to my house. Loop to all three about 70 miles - I'm at the 2nd park (Chatfield) about 2/3's into the ride. 100th anniversary ('95)Schwinn Letour frame I bought about 20 years ago and cobbled together recently for 2015 Ride the Rockies.

Includes:

Weinmann 700C rims with 36 14awg straight spokes, Phil Wood rear hub, Specialized Mtn Bike front hub. Regina 6sp 22-13. I have lots of cogs 12 to 31. Suntour Cyclone Front and rear derauillers. Surperbe Pro downtube shifters. Dura-Ace 7800 brakes (from my Seven). Shimano 34-50 compact crank, Ritchey SPD pedals, Brooks Mtn saddle and HB tape (of course!) on a Nashbar post, SR stem and bars held in place with a Stronglight needle bearing headset. Fork is a Tange 2 SS touring. And last: Continental Gator Skin 25 mm tires. Only one of these I know of. One of two road bikes on which I don't ride sewups. The other is a Seven that has one of three wheel sets that accept clinchers.

Sweet bike, I used to play soccer at Marymore back in the day. There used to be areas outside of Seattle with nothing around and no traffic, not so much anymore.

Handlebar was off recumbent bike (I think it could be optima lynx)
Brake levers are tektro RL570 (or similar) usually used on top of racing dropbar in a cross country cycling to allow to handle top side of bar and access to brakes (they are usually working in between levers and brakes. next time I would use something like tektro RX 4.1 or other reverse (bar end) levers.
