GIMONDI rims? help...

2 Attachment(s)
so i've got a set of GIMONDI rims laced to record hubs. i'd like to use these on my '82 super corsa but i'm trying to keep it looking as original and era specific as possible. i would assume that the rims are of the same vintage as the hubs which would put it where i need it, ear wise, but i cannot seem to find any info on the rims.

who made these rims?

quality or not? appropriate for the cinelli?

only identifying marks on the rims are these 2 stickers, nothing engraved or stamped.

I had a set of these same rims I raced on back in the '80s, so yes they are appropriate vintage for an '80s bike. Seems they would be entirely appropriate for a cinelli as they are also itialian made. They always seemed like reasonably good rims, approx same weight range as a GL330.

excellent news... the guy i got them from said he raced in a club (whose name appears on the rims in the form of left over adhesive :)) some time in the early 80's, and when i told him what i'd like to use them for he said they'd be perfect. glad to hear he knew what he was talking about.
