83 Peugeot thread question
Hey all
I'm thinking about replacing the headset and or the BB on my 1983, « Made in Canada », 103 tubing, Peugeot Course (PB-12). Would any of you know the type of threading it has ? May this thread be used in the future as a reference if an answer is given by any member, before I manually find out. (But I'll post the result anyway.) |
Made in Canukistan? Probably all British/BSA. Any chance you can post pics of the headset top nut and BB fixed cup? What size stem? 22.2 or 22.0?

I'll post photos today. Looks like a no-name brand headset.

Interesting question cause a lot of Peugeots still had French treading (even Swiss BB treading) in 83, but the bike coming from the great white north, the treading could indeed be mostly English as I'm not sure if the French "flavor" was entirely carried over when they set up factories in Canada. Frame tubing brand/type will give us a better idea.

I don't think that French theading was used on any Peugeots built outside of France.
