Please help dating a Bianchi Trofeo...
Hi Everyone! I just acquired a Bianchi Trofeo that a friend of mine was giving away. I can't remember exactly when he got it, but we were kids back then...It was somewhere between the late eighties and early nineties. I just want to know more specifically. Here are some specs...
It is a celeste colored Bianchi, it is made in Italy, front and rear derailleurs, brakes, and crank are all Shimano RX100. The serial number is on the BB and it starts with B9 XX XXX. The X's are not the real numbers/characters...just for privacy sake.
The tubing is Columbus Cromor. That's all the info I have on it...Thanks in advance!!!
Regards,
Kevin

great looking Trofeo. where are you and this Bianchi located? the decal style, unicrown fork and mint Celeste paint look '88/'89 to me for a bike here in the states. however our '88 Trofeo has the cool 'Argentin' Celeste/black paint and Suntour parts,a dn the model was dropped in '89.
are those F.I.R. rims OEM?

Hi Bianchigirl, Thanks for the response! I am located in Toronto, Canada...I wish it had Suntour parts on it, I'm a big fan of theirs...And yes, they are OEM F.I.R. rims. Can you tell me about them? I am not too familiar with them. Thanks again!
