Can you help identify these brakes?

These came off of a frankenbike Kabuki some time ago, and have been sitting in my parts box ever since. If you have a guess as to what they are, I'd like to hear it! I'm guessing some variety of Dia-Compe but not sure.
The front is marked "SC" and the rear is marked "5583 Japan" and "BS". Thanks!Attachment 161476Attachment 161477 |
"5583" may be a manufacturer's number meaning Dia Compe as it appears on most everything they make. It is on the back of a set of Dia Compe center-pulls that I have. Perhaps "SC" is a company for which Dia Compe made those brakes.

These brakes were made for Bridgestone. SC stands for Self Centering. See page 4 http://www.sheldonbrown.com/bridgest...one6001985.pdf

They look almost identical to Royal Compe brakes...
