As I haven't had any luck locating a gold, 1979 Simplex SLJ-103A front derailer for my Peugeot, Joe (Englert) here on the forum offered me this beautiful Galli alternative:

It fits right in, doesn't it? It'll do until an SLJ comes along, that's for sure.

I have a set of those gold Brunito calipers, a bit of the pain to set up nice, but they look good, I guess thats what matters in the end sometimes?

Nice french crap!
Seriously, though. Beautiful bike. Shame about that gold stem, though.

Goodness its gorgeous, I thought about using all gold components like your example but the simplex stuff is all mid 70s, did anyone else make gold shifters and deraillieurs?
(Galli obviously included)
In your shoes I may have even bit the bullet and used gold mafac 2000 centerpulls.

I would guess so, since the Gallis are the only components that were a substitute for the original Mavic LS's by the original owner. The Mavic LS didn't come in gold; hence the swap.

Mind you, these are not the Brunitos, but the Super Criterium set.

The rest was presumably ordered from factory in gold, stock.

Oh, another might show itself someday. Hope springs eternal.

The gold Mafac centerpulls would be ideal for a PY-10 with centerpull posts - pre-'79 examples, I believe. '79 was the first (and only) year for PY-10 sidepulls, I believe; excluding the PRO10 (in in itself a re-badged PY10 clone).

Gold shifters and derailers later than 1979? ICS Super Record or C-Record?
