Splendor Question

Alway kind of admired those 80s team Splendor bikes, you know the blue with the yellow Splendor decal.. anyone know who made these? Never have seen one for sale. Was there a team replica made for public purchase or only team use only. Thanks much.

I remember those bikes (particularly two Splendor riders duking it out to the line in Zolder with Bernard Hinault in 1981)! What a classic color combination, too. Unfortunately, I have no idea who made them, but I'll be watching this thread with interest in case we find out.

Hmmm...I'm now thinking 'grail bike'

BTW, anyone know why some posts duplicate the last word in a sentence? See above. I didn't type Bernard twice...

the text wrapping algorithm is hosed up a little. Try resizing the window. The results can be suprising...
