I'm pretty amazed by the condition of that saddle. Is it as nice as it looks? Is it re-covered or something?

Wood rims could go all the way back to the teens. That chainguard was a generic thing from about 1915 to the late 30s. That looks like a New Departure rear hub. That's dateable. Those tires are really expensive.

the bracket hanging is from the rear carrier. Its not connected yet to the seat post bolt.I was amazed at the saddle.it is original.the guy who had it was about my age[60] and said his dad had this bike put away in a dry place for at least 50 years and never changed anything on it.I talked to an Amish gentleman who said he could take the wood rims and put the hard rubber that is used on their wagons for about $40 per wheel and will look very nice as the bike will be a wall hanger when finished.
