Very nice, except the cable coiling around the top tube is making me sad. It's hurting the lines of an otherwise beautiful build.

But this thread needs many many more photos. We need nuts, bolts, and nubs photo'd so we can adequately gawk and fawn...Great work, though!

Interested in seeing more pics of the brake levers and some feedback on the IRD crank. How's the fit, finish quality?

PS I like the Portuer handlebars, but I think I'm a bigger fan of the handlebar moustache.

'K, maybe it's not technically a handlebar moustache -- maybe a 'short boxed with handlebar?' -- but either way, sweet facial hair.

Here are some pics as requested.

SA bar end shifter

Cockpit

IRD Defiant crank

SA 5speed hub

Paul Comp touring canti

Acorn Bag (large saddlebag)

To answer some ????'s...The Guidonnet brake levers look GREAT! and work well. Not the best however, a little spongy but they are after all basically city bike levers that have been bent. Just fine for a commuter.
The IRD Defiant crank is Wonderful!!!! Fit and finish is awesome, chainring is round and quiet, arms are nice and stiff. From 5 feet away is is a ringer for the Campy to all but the most dedicated campyphile. Because its a track crank (0 q-factor) I couldn't use the VO chainguard I had bought for it, but it looks so good I'm ok with that. Gives me an excuse to build another bike for the chainguard. BAS is a terrible disease!!
One more thing... That Acorn bag is INCREDIBLE!!!! There should be a law against providing such an incredible product at such a fair price. I recommend them to anyone.

Forgot to mention the Pletcsher double kickstand. It makes loading up and such a breeze, also great with the trailer.

Why not mount it under the top tube, as close to the front as possible and cut the extra 20 inches of wire?

I have some serious reservations about cutting and splicing a $250 light, especially when it serves no function but fashion.

I think I would take up the cable slack, bundle it up just above the battery pack, and lash it (zip tie) to the seat tube there. then route the remaining straight cable under the top tube with a few more zip ties. That bike deserves a cleaner uncluttered look imo. Nice bike! 650 wheels?
