Gazelle Champion Mondial Seat Post
So i have a gazelle champion mondial that i've measure the seatpost as a 27.0 with a very lousy set of calipers. and by lousy i mean.... it's marked off to the nearest millimeter. I've seen references here to them having 27.2 mm seatposts. I'm working with a 531 DB tubeset as far as I know and a variant of an AA frame.
Does anyone have one with a 27.0?
i've put a 27.4 at the hole and it comes no where close. the only other thing i have is a 26.something and it's way too small.

definately a 27.2
Maybe part of the tube is slightly out of shape - a "reaming" (if that's the correct term) at your local bike shop should sort it out ...

Unique Vintage Steel
Champion Mondials, well all that I've ever come across including the two at my house, all have 531c tubing and all take a 27.2mm seatpost. Sounds like it's time for a better set of calipers. I picked up a good pair on sale for under $20 at MidwayUSA when I was building my reloading bench but have found numerous uses when working on the bikes as well.
