Ebay - Why Didn't This Fuji Sell?

Ebay - Fuji Touring Series IV

Why did this bike not sell at this price? It seems to be a great deal. I don't see any indication that the seller ended the auction early.

It's funny that they gave two different numbers for the same ridiculous measurement. Center of pedals to top of seat, hell yeah!

I also blame the askers, who really should specify where to measure.

If you look at completed listings and "oldest first" you will see that it was only listed for one day. It looks like someone made an offer to end the auction or it was listed on CL simultaneously.

+1 Someone made a private offer and seller cancelled auction.

Yes, I was watching that one too. It had some bids, but must have been sold outside ebay because the seller cancelled the bids and ended it early.

Thanks for all the replies. I missed the dates when I looked at the completed auctions.

there are some funky listing quirks in the ebay search engine --- for example I needed a harley exhaust and ended bidding at 130 for the only unit that I could find. when I went to find what it sold for (over $200) -- another search results screen appeared with the same part at another listing - 3 day auction ending in 8 minutes for $9.99. I won as the only bidder. it was for real and not listed previously..

If the seller had given a clear and accurate frame size in the first place I think he would have gotten a fair price. The lack of this basic info would make me doubt the seller's reliability. (Looks like a 60 cm to me).
