Throwback Cycling Clothing?

Anyone know of a source for throwback clothing? Not to ride in, but just to look cool wearing around when you're off the bike....retro stuff.

Ummm.
come again? You want to wear wool jerseys or wool bike shorts off the bike? You can find some wool clothing here... http://rivendellbicycles.com/webalog/clothing/
Is that what you mean, or are you looking for a classic wool trainer like a Molteni sweater?

Bike Nashbar might have some stuff too.

Yeah....actually a wool throwback jersey would work as long as you are wearing a t-shirt underneath. Doesn't anyone make any vintage-looking cycling sweatshirts, hoodies, or even T-shirts?

Can't get much more throwback than this:

I don't think you'd need a t-shirt under fine wool like that. Softer than a lamb's behind.

Yes, a woolen jersey can be fairly comfortable, as they are generally made of a soft, fine wool, rather than a coarse, scratchy wool.

Sorry. I forgot to post where I saw that: http://www.vintagevelos.com/

You see,
it depends on what you mean by vintage. I was around back then, and I don't ever remember seeing a wool trainer like that Molteni in real life. I saw lots of sweaters, and a couple of wool bike jerseys. So are you looking for the 'retro' look of Rivendell. the classic racer look epitomised by the Molteni, or something else again entirely? Btw, check out smartwool, they have a nice website, and some of the nicest wool garments you will ever see.

If the jerset is mad of Merino Wool, no tshirt required. Got myself a coupla icebreaker merino wool tshirts, and they're fab.

(And I'm a big girl when it comes to itchy things on my skin!)

I hope for a world where I can dress like this on a daily basis.
