WTB: tommasini fork

1 Attachment(s)
My wife is happily riding a lovely steel (Columbus SL) Tommasini "Prestige" frame.
Unfortunately at some point in its life it lost its original Tommasini front fork and acquired instead a .. (Gasp!) Colnago fork.

I would like to make this beautiful bike whole again.
Can anyone suggest where I might find a replacement original 1" Tommasini fork length approx 5.5" or 140mm, either new or used, ideally in chrome (or black I guess) so it would match better?

Many thanks

Tommasini lists the AIR fork on their website. You might try contacting them.

theres a chrome Tommasini AIR fork on ebay right now. Unfortunately it doesnt look like the seller will ship out of USA.

yes. i'm sure there are threads regarding cutting your own fork, or your lbs will be able to help you out. You just dont want a fork that is too short.

I had the exact opposite problem. I hated the carbon fork my Colnago Master had and wanted to replace it with a chromed fork. Although I found a number of bike manufacturers offered chromed forks for sale, such as Gios, all but Tommasani offered chromed forks of only one rake. I was able to purchase a beautiful chromed steel Tommasani fork at a rake of my choosing.

Thing is, you cannot purchase anything direct from Tommasini but must go through one of their authorized dealers. I was directed to ERA Bikes in Lancaster, PA by Tommasani (http://www.erapro.com/Default.asp) as I live in Maryland. They were great and fixed me up with a new fork pronto. Now my Master has a proper fork that provides, believe it or not, a better ride than the original Colnago Star carbon fork. Good luck!
