What year is my raleigh olympian?
Hey guys never posted in vintage forums but i have a blue and gold raleigh olympian with 502 cro mo tubing and i was wondering what year it is and if theres a catalog or something.

Look on the inside of the right crank; there should be a date code on it. (At least that was the case with a Raleigh Marathon I acquired from the same period.)

The 165 is probably the crank arm length (not bcd). the 82 is probably the year. On mine it had a D 83 on it which I took to mean April, 1983. Even with that, though, it's only a limiting factor (i.e., yours no older than 1982, but it could be newer).
