Miyata 610, on the road again
Got the Miyata 610 I picked about a month ago back on the road for it's maiden ride yesterday.
Some before picture are here after I brought it home, Miyata 610. It was in rideable shape as is but it needed a little clean up.
I tore it done completely and repacked all the hubs. Got rid of the ranndner bars, I dislike those very much, and put on some 42cm ergo bars on. Yea not period correct but I prefer them. Replaced the suicide bars with some aero Cane Creek levers. Kept the barcons, new Jagwire cabling, bar tape, Panaracer Pasella blackwall tires (again I prefer the look versus the gumwall), and new brake shoes.
Took it out for a shake down ride yesterday, only about 15 miles, didn't want to get out to far in case any problems came up. Glad to say nothing serious, just need to make a few minor adjustments and to tune the fit, but otherwise it is a nice smooth ride and it stood out among all the weekend warriors that were out on there new CF bikes.
So are you ready for some bike pron.

I always like to see those half-step plus a granny triple cranks. Thanks for sharing.
