Velodrome. Who's going ?

Hi All. It's that time again. Hopefully it won't rain on our parade.
C&V bikes are hard to get around here ( York Co.) I'm only
bringing 10 bikes or so, which is down from 15-17 bikes last year.

I hope to see some familiar faces on Sat morning !

Good luck, and happy hunting,
Johnnybee.

See ya down there Johnny. We're going to be going for a little ride after the swap, If you or you and your wife would like to join us, just be sure to not sell 2 of those bikes

They tore down the local velodromes in Nutley and Newark a long time ago.

I'll be there with Zaph and Rob. It's been drought conditions for 3 months and whaddya know, rain forecast for next week. Hopefully it will clear by Saturday, but historically the weather conditions are awful when I attend the swap. Maybe I'll stay home for the benefit of you all?

Rob won't like that...I think he's planning on staying dry under your tent

Are you talking about the Trexlertown swap meet? Isn't that Sunday Oct 3rd? Or are you talking about something else?

Ok, I'm confused. Can someone straighten this out for me?

There's this on Sat Oct 2nd.
https://philadelphia.craigslist.org/bik/1971070064.html

And this on Sun 3rd.

Are these 2 different events then? I guess Saturday would be the big day and Sunday more of a specialized swap meet?

Thanks

They are two different events.

The one on the second is the one at the velodrome...it has modern stuff, older, high end, low end...EVERYTHING.

The other has more of a focus on older stuff, much of it balloon tire, and it's at a fire station.

It's about a very large swap meet at a velodrome an hour or so north of Philadelphia. It historically gets good turn outs.

Thanks for the info. I almost went to the wrong one. Looks like Saturday is the day for me.

My tent.... I'm looking forward to the ride afterward. I've got enough bikes, so hopefully I sell what I take
