An Unconventional Pinarello
I think it came out just fine. And, I've always wanted an orange bike. Rides well. It's been a while since I have used the Campy group. Pretty though it is, it just doesn't work as well as 6-speed SIS Dura Ace or 8-speed 600. But, I think I'll keep it as is.

Very nice. Where did you get the standard, black Fizik bar tape? Every time I run into the stuff, it's the blasted suede stuff that doesn't sit well.

Thanks. Actually, I have found the standard black in a number of stores. What I haven't seen in the US is the brown to match a honey Brooks.
|
Very nice. Not usually a fan of black sidewalls, but they look great in this case. If you aren't happy with the shifting, ditch those (Campagnolo?) levers and try some Simplex retrofriction levers. By the way, a perfect bike for a Halloween Day ride (falls on a Sunday this year)!

My thought exactly. My Halloween Bike.

Nice.

Just a month early. It works. Tan sidewalls would tone it down if that is what you wanted to do. |
Very pretty results. The Campy looks great against classic Italian steel.
I've also always wanted some form of orange/bronze colored bike. I may try painting one of my project frames now after these pics. I was debating, orange/black or Ford GT in Gulf racing orange and blue. ;) |
That
Is PERFECT. what ever my next bike build is, whether it be fixie, lightweight road bike, mountain or classic, Im going with orange. |
Wow I really like everything about that bike. I'm not too much of an orange guy but this changes me as everything works together on it. Bellissimo!

Beautiful bike RFC, well done!

-Kurt http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/sp/roa...pe/FIZIHBTP200 $12.45 a box. http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/produc...00_1_large.jpg I had 'em throw in six or seven rolls on my last order. Brown honey, black, white, two rolls of red, and buffed black. I like them all quite a bit. I have the buffed black on my Bruce Gordon, and it has lasted a little over 1,200 miles since June. Nice stuff! Cool bike you got there to the op. |
Nice. I've always liked steel Pinarellos. What golf course did you shoot the pics at? :)

The photos where taken at Orange Tree, south of Cactus between 56th and 60th. |
BTW, orange is one of my favorite colors:
