This Raleigh Wyoming came with one of the integrated ones that incorporated shifter cable stops. Pretty cool as long as the plastic doesn't get brittle.
This one didn't work very well with these tires, it was a bit too loose. The band-clamp type might not look as good, but at least you can adjust them. http://lh4.ggpht.com/_TIeBxBH6dXI/TD...800/wyo_02.jpg |
I'm trying to understand just what a FlickStand is, what is it supposed to do ?
|
a flick stand is a small spring loaded wire loop that locks against the front tire/wheel makig the bike a rigid plane and therefore easier to lean against something.
if you look closely at the pic above you can see it right by the H in Raleigh capecodder did you find one yet? |
What ever happened to the thick rubber bands that the mail delivery people used to use? We used to wrap the rubber band around the down tube and then attach both ends around the valve.

I think those also used to come on broccoli when I was a kid. They may still but I wouldn't know it - since I've "grown up" I've stopped eating my vegetables.
