Is this Specialized hub really a Superbe Pro hub?
I recently moved and thus had to go through all my parts. I found wrapped in plastic what appears to be a NOS rear hub (with a little bit wear from bouncing around parts bins for 20+ years). It is marked Specialized on the bearing(?) but when I saw it I thought it looked mighty familiar. I then did some searching and found mention that Suntour may have made the hubs..then it clicked. They look like Superbe Pro hubs! (maybe)
Anybody know if this is true? Or if maybe it is made by Suntour but is something different from the Superbe Pro?
Superbe Pro hub from the internets:
