Woahh. That's quite the transformation. Good work!
|
Wow, you should be proud of that one. Excellent choice on the decals and the white accents. Nice work and attention to detail.

Not to be redundant, but WOW! That bike really pops!
|
Thanks. I forgot to add, she rides like a dream. I have never ridden a bike with 27" tires but wow....what a ride and she is incredibly responsive.
I will be riding her this Sunday at the Austin LiveSTRONG event. 45 miles for her "maiden voyage" |

Very, very nice!

I think a WOAH! is in order. Nice work man!
|
Nice bike! Awesome transformation!
Did you clear the decals? |
The white panel on the downtube is just awesome.
Are these the original wheels? |
Better than new, perhaps a new classification is in order BTN
|
Very nice work. Those are Schwalbe Marathons, right?
|
What a wonderful looking bike, great colors, and great detail work. Nice job :thumb:

What housing is that? Very nice btw.
|
Drietz - Clear as in clear coat? No, I did not.
Zap - Yes, those are the original Araya wheels and original hubs....new spokes though. Jan - Yes, you have a good eye or you're just a Schwable stalker! http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e1...g/DSC_0516.jpg Robo - The housing is a basic white cable housing I bought at my LBS for about $2 a foot. Sorry I do not have a name. It came in a plastic bag with nothing in or on it when I picked it up at the shop. |
Sweet!
Also really like the short depth-of-field photography. |
Looks fantastic! Great job. Love the decals! Very nice photography. :thumb:
You might consider routing the rear brake cable on the drive side of the seatpost. This would also be a good bike to try right/front, left/rear cabling if you're so inclined. |
little paint and polish never hurt anything.

bloody brilliant!
|
Great style! How did you get the components to shine like that ???
|
Great job! Stunning results.
|
Great Job! Would like to see a better "after" picture from the side more like the "before" picture
|
I'm sorry, but the cable routing ruins an otherwise beautiful bike for me.
