VOTE! (time sensitive)

I am making a graphic image of a CV bike for a national ad.

Which bike do you guys want to see?

I can't reveal the client, or tell you where it will appear. (legal stuff)

I will choose the one with the most photo votes.

Edit: Side view drive side photos only please :)

RE:Edit:

1. Only direct side views of driver side. No 3/4 views
2. Brand will not be important. Imagine a photogram (black and white profile) of how it would look. A three speed will look different than a road bike.
3. What will be important are size, bar set up, seat, racks... things like that. So it is strictly visual based, not performance. Think of the graphic of the bike painted on the bike lane... but much more detailed and elegant.

Thanks for the responses so far.

Thanks

Unless you present us with the choices you'll risk duplicating this thread

Gary Fountain 10-21-10 11:09 AM

How about a Bianchi?

+1. Better set it up first.

20grit 10-21-10 11:12 AM

Iver Johnson Truss frame.

rhm 10-21-10 11:15 AM

Yeah, give us choices. Also, shouldn't we be choosing a photo, rather than a bike? I really like Gary Fountain's Bianchi, but I don't like that photo. Here's a photo of my orange Norman....http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4143/...d392848d_b.jpg

gbalke 10-21-10 11:21 AM

Can you give us a bit of a clue regarding the ad? Would an American bike be more appropriate for the ad? Are you looking for a road bike, a tourist type bike? Rudi, I'll see your orange Norman and raise you my black Raleigh Path Racer.http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2428/...733a2f9b_b.jpg

Chombi 10-21-10 11:22 AM

Racing or Upright??

you can use mine if you want to, just chop off the garage door behind it........just my personal preference, of course...:D

Ivandarken 10-21-10 11:29 AM

Please see original post... I edited it. All I am really doing is taking what you guys consider a beautiful bike silhouette and using it in an ad.

Ivandarken 10-21-10 11:35 AM

That's the spirit, Chombi! Big, beautiful drive side images of your favorite bike. The water bottle on this one is nice as well. Good detail. Anything that would look good as a graphic image like this is great. Let's see more and then start voting on the best. There is no wrong answer here, so don't get hung up on the details. I just thought it would be fun to include you all in the decision.

This would get my vote for best silhouette, or pretty much any path racer, like gbalke's, or any path racer inspired build.

rhm 10-21-10 12:00 PM

I would go for something with an interesting chain ring and some more curvature to the fork.

Not sure about the chain guard, though.

These are great! Keep 'm coming.

It will end up looking something like this image I swiped off the web (for example only)

Go to the "most beautiful bikes" thread, thats what's gonna get repeated here.

20grit 10-21-10 01:37 PM

this should not be a repeat of that thread. The interest here is in a silhouette. We're left searching for basic frame styles, modifications in geometry, shape, proportion, etc. Many of the beauty bikes are based on color, finish, componentry, etc. Those matter little here.

Drillium Dude 10-21-10 01:48 PM

Pick me, pick me! :)

I know, it's my bike...but I think this embodies the spirit of C&V Lightweight pretty strongly. Just my 2 centavos...

I'm feeling the Carbone 7, every time I see that bike I drool a little, it's beautiful.
