C & V Resources
I love to frequently roam Craigslist & Ebay to look for C&V bikes and parts. After I find something interesting my typical course of action is to visit certain websites to either educate myself or to figure out the history, value, quality, etc.
I think it would be helpful to C&B newbie’s (which I still consider myself part of), as well as more experienced BF members to have a running list of good resources. General: Sheldon Brown http://www.sheldonbrown.com/ The Headbadge http://www.jaysmarine.com/bikecollection.html My Ten Speeds http://www.mytenspeeds.com/My_TenSpeeds_1/index.htm Parts: Velobase http://velobase.com/ Visual: Velospace http://velospace.org/node Books: Icelord http://icelord.net/bike/ What sites do you use as part of your research? I will frequently update this list with your suggestions. Thanks, Bernard P.s. please let me know if this has already been done. I know some of you don’t like duplicate threads. |
I just post here without doing any searching or any type of research ahead of time whatsoever.
Googling stuff is so last century...the new way is to ask people to google it for you. yes, I am kidding |
Thanks B thats pretty informative stuff, lots of good reads, got it bookmarked.

Here are a few that are brand specific, but still helpful.

Lots of good info here:
