I don't if it was the cold snap recently or that I have spent some time out in the barn looking at bikes, but I found myself rather excited about the possibility of velo-cheapo this year. I've got at least 3 good frames in mind that would work well for it. I'm not even thinking I'll be in for the 'win', but there's been some cool posts over the past year and some ideas I'm wanting to try out.

I thought the contest was one that resulted in judging in the spring. If I'm mistaken on that, I'd propose that such be the case. Was there feedback and consensus on how it was conducted last year? Would it be the same? Any modifications to the rules? Anyone wish to step forward to administer/judge?

here's last years thread https://www.bikeforums.net/archive/in.../t-608499.html
the idea is to build the best bike you can for the cheapest you can do it. Entries range from "WOW that is awesome" to "Holy Crap I would NOT ride that" but they're all good fun.
the rules are basically: account for what you use, if you don't know the value assign a fair value to it, and you're allowed 1 freebie.
I've got an entrant lined up, but I could be persuaded to Judge this year in the absence of other judges.

I'm not entering anything this round, but I'd be willing to judge.
