What year Giro 'd Italia passed near-by Arezzo, Tuscany? ('86-'90)

Hello,

does anyone know what year did the Giro 'd Italia pass closest to the city of Arezzo(or badia al pino), Tuscany?

I am asking about the years '86-'90.
Most likely it was in '88-'89... But does anyone know for sure?

Thanks!

I think you can Google "Giro d'Italia" and find the stages. Might only have beginning and ending towns for the stages though.

Judging by the starting and finishing towns, I don't think it was '88. Unless the stage (9) from Pienza to Marina di Massa went considerably north from the start before heading for the coast (which would have been an unusual diversion and created a pretty odd-looking route map.)

It went there in 2004. If it went there previously, it was assuredly in front of the Del Tongo factory.

It could have been the 11th stage in 1986 from Pesaro di Castiglione del lago
