Don't own one with this tubeset, but have ridden one quite a bit.
....and BBM in his ride report states:
San Ramon to Sunol, then up and over Palomares to Dublin and back home. Testing out the new sled, it's nice. Wind was a bit of a bother coming back. ~43 miles and 2300 or so feet of climbing.
I'd wager I would have put triple or compacts on all of my bikes when I was 22 years old if I had to do that much climbing.
Heck, I complain about riding in and out of the river bluffs here in St. Paul.
Can't imagine riding in the hills/mountains all day.
I'd have to actually work on the bike.
Now BBM, where are those full side view shots anyway?

I won't trade out any of my remaining De Rosas.
I will add one though in a couple of years.
....or when one as nice as John's falls into my lap.
All of BBM's bikes are pristine, well-conceived examples though.
I think he's the type of guy to do things properly, or he'll wait until he can.
That's why the Primatos were switched, I'd guess.
This Primato's color has me mesmerized, I must say.
I've looked at these pics about five times now.

Very Beautiful!!! Everything works great together.
I agree with Gomango, the blue is absolutely amazing.
If I remember correctly you thought the headset may be too bulky for the build, personally I think it is a perfect fit.
I am sure it rides as nice as it looks, well done.
