Any Trek or Specialized hybrids with fork lowrider mounts?
I'm thinking of a possible hybrid build for dirt trail touring and am wondering what models and years had front fork braze ons for lowrider mounts. I can't seem to find much information about the mid to late 90's versions I would be interested in.
Am I wrong to think bikes/frames of this type and vintage would be relatively cheap and easy to find?

If it comes down to a good bike for your purpose without lowrider mounts, P-clamps are an effective, albeit slightly less attractive solution.

I've been keeping an eye out for the same sort of thing, and it seems like I used to see them all the time, but now that I'm looking they're not coming up very often and when they do they're ~$100 or more above what I would expect.

brockd15 - You are so right about not finding a reasonable one when you are looking! I see loads of Trek 700 and an occasional 720 (hybrid) but the higher number models seem relatively rare. Maybe it will take a few more years before people tire of them and unload them like they do their old roads bike now.
