More Upright!

I have a Schwinn "Mesa" (hybrid) and am interested in changing the handlebars to a more upright style....I am a novice at this......any recommendations for new handlebars?
Tks in advance! Great site.

Nitto Promenade, Albatross, North Road, or Moustache bars...

...or one of the variety of bars produced by VO or Soma.

Be careful to note the brake-size for the bars you choose. Some bars are intended for inverse brake levers, or road style hoods (in the case of Moustache bars).

I installed some North Road bars and a shorter SR quill stem on my wifes Schwinn CrisCross (hybred) allowing for a much better upright position, which
made her very happy! (fwiw, I like the price of the VO bar).

Cheers,
Chris
