Watch ebay Thunderdome! Wow!!!
Here is a live example of two bidders from Crazytown going head to head...
Posted with 3 -1/2 hours left to go and $600.00
I thought I was nuts when I bought the entire derailleur/shifter/cables/hanger for $100.00

And for comparison: different but similar.

Wow! I happen to have a Cyclo 50 rear derailleur that looks much like the pricey one. I thought it to be a piece of junk and don't know why I kept the darn thing. I might add that it weights more than my ALAN:-)
The piece sports what is probably a well earned patina of age and the mounting bracket it broken. But it will be interesting to watch the auctions, just for the fun of it. Just took a couple of pictures...

$5 says neither n***u or 1***5 wins the auction.

Occasionally, we see posts that read something like "I can't believe what the dumbsh*t hipster paid for that POS fixie I put together and sold to him." Sort of rubs me the wrong way. Obviously doesn't apply to you.

No worries. I try not to post anything offensive... it's the nature of text-only to sometimes be misread.
I was just really shocked to see the numbers go so high. (though I do remember bidding on a nos chain guard that must have made some people's jaw drop)

Former Hoarder
Two bits says the winner doesn't pay. And neither will the runner up. But then, I don't really know if this a highly desired part or not in any part of the world.
I had a 7401 DA rear der that was in fine but not super special shape that 2 guys got into it over - ended at almost $500. Buyer never paid and begged out...which I let him do. Runner up didn't want it either at that price. Sucked because I had to pay to relist it (10 cents) but it was fun to watch.

The original Cyclo was in France; they made the pricey derailleur we're discussing. The English Cyclo was a later development, owing to some import restrictions between the wars. Randy's one is English; the early stuff looks very similar.

Ya just never know and one of you said it best. Pay, or not, it is fun to watch an auction go crazy. I watched one of my Torpados sky rocket to over $1200.00 US one day, and three people were vying for it. Got three more in The Old Shed and one goes to Ebay tomorrow.

I should have won but it looks like I botched up the configuration on esniper and my snipe didn't go out
I'm not pleased, but for all the stuff I've won with that little free application I'm not gonna gripe too much over one failure to launch.
I'm flattered you didn't bid me up Ivan, but I'm really kicking myself now since neither of us got it.
KHAAAAAANNN!!!
