since this is a none bike thread in C&V allow me to get out some questions I've had that I havent had the chance to ask since it isnt bike related.

- First of all - what the hell is that red star next to my name? I know it means I'm a member but how does it differ from the yellow jersey?

- second, what the heck happened to East Hill? I Pm'ed with her when my son was born summer 09 but I havent seen her since and she seems to have dissapeared completely after posting nearly every hour. Is everything ok?

- does anyone want to give me a cheap Colnago in good shape?

Yellow jerseys are much, much better than red stars. :) Seriously - the yellow jersey denotes "Titanium" member status. It is a stupid idea for revenue generation, brought to you by our new overlords. I have one, but only because it was free for something I did. I was more than happy with the red star, and would have never paid the grift to upgrade.

East Hill - go to her profile and use the email link, not the PM. She might answer you, and she might tell you her story. Basically it was an administration issue.
