kroozer - wow, that Atala is really beautiful. The colors are beautiful and pretty unique. Looks like it's never been ridden to. Gorgeous!

Vonruden - you have great taste in bikes - and women! Love them all, but I really like that Olmo...

This page is off to a great start!

The hand painted brand identification is unusual for a 70's Italian - I think that alone makes it quite special.
The Olmo hoods are new old stock but do not have the red lining in the lettering on the side of the hoods as did the original hoods that came with the Olmo. The seat post is a Nitor 26.2 mm. I have seen other Liottos with handpainted Liotto script... it was a small operation and perhaps the stock of decals would run out.

Classic build Kactus and it looks like a great fit. How does the ride compare with your Raleigh Pro?

198(?) Bottecchia - not knowing the actual model, I have since dubbed it the "Arcana".

It feels a little stiffer and quicker when I put some power down. I haven't had a chance to put many miles on yet but so far I'm enjoying the ride.

I just love this bike. My 'special features', besides the frame, are the beautifully sculptured Gipiemme seat post and the Weinmann Delta Pro brake set. And, is that a Huret Jubilee rear derailleur and a Mavic front derailleur? Front wheel radially spoked too. What a great set-up. It must be seriously light. To me, this is Heaven on two wheels.

I finished this build less than an hour ago. It is a '92 Tommaso built by the Bilato brothers. This makes number 4 in my stable of Italian bikes.

Basso in D'Airenzo clothing. Still, made in Italy.
Marketed and badged as a D'Arienzo in South Florida.
There were actually more decals on it than shown.
There were 3 slanted red stripes above/below each D'Arienzo logo.
Plus, the logos themselves, along with the stripes, were wrinkled a bit.
The SLX decal was visible, but toast.

I removed the stripes, then kept heat on the logos and smoothed them out.
I replaced the SLX decal.

For all above... what a line-up! Wild style paint on the Tommaso... neat.

Anyhow maybe I should post the following in the appraisal thread but I think the following and 'goto' are here. I built this up many years ago for a friend. Quite sure and he's indicated probably won't be fit to ride anymore. It's been ridden hard and put away wet. Frame is showing some questionable corrosion around the head lugs. I left the value amount open as I wouldn't want to hurt a friendship but kills me to see it like this and yet don't want to see it parted or rusted beyond what left. Thoughts or what would one value it and not looking as parting out??

Here is another build that I finished up recently. It is an '83 (I believe) Pinarello Record. These were similar to the Treviso but sold as frame sets.
