I suspect it's about the suspension fork...
Anyway: sort-of italian, I guess:
A Benotto 800. Probably will post more about it in the cluncker challenge .

Update on the Legnano Gran Premio pictured above. I completed the $100 Clunker Challenge last weekend on the Rose Bowl vintage ride ($93 spent, 117 Km).
End of Clunker Challenge. Used bar tape, chrome clean-up, used Gatorskins. Time to spend sime money on cable and housings, new tires, and tweek the fit a little.
The head badge cleaned up nice.

Mostly original Italian 60s-70s folder. Added QR for handle bars, new saddle and pedals. Saddle temporary, changing to Brooks vinyl springer.

My Italians
actually mostly Sicilians...but close enough
been looking for an Italian bike I can afford, it will be my first road bike. Until then here are just a few of "my Italians" . Im going again in October, will check out bike shops and see if I can find one and ship back but I think shipping will be cost prohibitive

1969 Colnago Super. It has Cinelli stem, bars, and saddle, and full NR except for Tipo hubs with Nisi rims.
I just picked up this 1960 Fiorelli this week so this is in as-found condition. It has Campagnolo dropouts, Gran Sport front and rear derailleurs and shifters, Magistroni cranks, Balilla brakes, and Gnutti hubs with Fiamme clincher rims.
