According to Antonio Taverna, the builder, there were 10 to 20 of these built. 1987 Vetta Radsport Sauter. No connection to Vetta of bike computer fame

I'm using the image button and pasting the URL, but the pics do not show for me! Maybe it is my browser setup.

Funny to see where I was a year ago! I now have neither of those steel beauties (no steel in my stable anymore!) and have gone to the dark side - carbon fiber.

Nice to see this thread revived - I'm sure there are plenty of others out there who've added Italian to their stables in the past year.

Daccadori, Faggin, and Bianchi Volpe. All have moved on, but I'm building up a Ciocc.

Great thread! So tough to pick a favorite... but these two Bottecchia's have to be the nicest examples I've ever seen! Gorgeous!
[QUOTE=eja_ bottecchia;11952683]
I havn't seen any Basso's here, but I hope to add my new addition very soon. I'm dolling her up right now, but it should be ready for pics in a week or two!

Another excuse to get the ALAN out! Tomorrow I'm going for a ride on it's new "daily" wheelset (this crumbling tubular set is only for the pics) - C-record hubs (low flange) on MAVIC Open 4 CD's.

I had this one while ago. A classic but unusual paint scheme I think. Picked up in Belgium but unfortunately too small hence sold...

How dare you post such a sexy Italian bike! My eyes hurt from looking at its beautiful curves and elegant lugs. Stupid sexy Cinelli!
