Anybody know if a 1055SC brifters can swing a tripple?

Just built or a 98 Cdale frame with a complete 105SC group circa 1993 with a 1056 Double.

Today I came into possession of a1995 105SC 1057 triple.
Velo Base only shows the 1055 brifters that I have, no mention if it can swing the triple.

Next question:

Will the short cage 1056 RD handle the 30/42/52 crank?

Thanks in advance.
