Questions about Krylon Appliance Epoxy paint

Some days ago I repainted the top of my washing machine with Krylon Appliance Epoxy. Sanded it with 120 and put 5 or 6 coats on, then "baked" it inside a closed car in the sun. This paint is hard, suitable for bicycles I think. I've searched here but other than some guys saying they used it, found nothing.
My questions are:
Can it be applied on bare metal or needs a primer?
Should I clear coat it?
Can it be sanded with 1000 and polished to a high gloss?
Is direct sunlight harmful to it?
Any downsides to it? (besides the limited color options)
Thanks.

The can says it doesnt need a primer. I applied it to a stripped and wire brushed raw metal frame. Gave several coats (rushed it, should have done many very thin coats) and it came out great IMO. I used the rustoleum version.
Nice and glossy. Needs to cure for quite a while as with any rattle can. No baking here and it's been colder winter weather.

Next I'll try some high temp engine enamel. It came out beautiful and exceptionally durable on my valve cover (unbaked).

I used it on my Raleigh as well and I've been really happy with the results and the guys at the LBS were shocked to hear that it was a home rattle can job.

I just wish it came in more colors. It lays down nice, good gloss and it's held up great.

Is that paint for outdoor use? The Rustoleum epoxy says for indoor metal surfaces. I have used other brands of spray, low temperature cure paints and used a heat box to accelerate the curing process.
