FREJUS on the net
I'm sure all you Frejus fans have seen this bike on ebay. Nice bike, if a little rich for my blood.

Yes,very nice indeed. Anyone besides me think that the 1958 Legnano that sold last week for $4,449 influenced the seller's decision to place his Frejus on Ebay?
I know for a fact that the 1955 Legnano Tipo Roma I purchased from Ebay last week was listed by its owner hoping to increase his selling price from the interest generated by the stunning 1958 Legnano. Didn't work out for him. :( I got it for a great price even though it needs a good restoration. :) |
I thought the same thing when that bike came on. Retyred, you might try submerging the chrome in vinegar for a day, then giving the chrome bits a vigorous wipe with a coarse rag and/or fine steel wool. In my experience vinegar has no effect on paint. You might be pleasantly surprised by what it does to rust, though.

Nice.
Overpriced. IMO. Robbie Fellows didn't sell this one last week. His reserve was probably around $1,400, as was his offer to the CR list. Condition and size of the OP bike is better, but not $3K better. |
