Look KG96 up and rolling

Below are photos of my now completed 1989-90 KG96.

Two caveats:

1) I'm working and home today. The weather is cold and rainy. So patio and garage door pics rather than desert scenes.

2) I would be the first to agree that the bike is not stock and would "look" better with the original fork and stem. I will keep my eyes open for a fork, however, the latter day Look fork that came with the frame is full carbon and very nicely constructed. So, I'm pleased with the performance as well as the asethetic.

The bike is a rider. Around 19 lbs with a spring like a high end steel bike, but less chatter. Accelerates well, climbs positively, and plenty stiff for out of the saddle riding. And, it fits well.

I agree about the stem.

I think the fork looks great, and so does the bike.

Very nice. Great choice of colors. That would look awesome parked next to Jan's bike below.

Extremely nice.
I'll overlook the stem issue if you put on some sew-ups.

Nice bike man! As per the usual, I like the the stem. In this case, I think a threadless stem looks right with that type of frame. An 'old tech' quill stem almost looks non sequitur on a frame with that many dark color cues.

Another finely executed build. Very handsome! I find nothing detracting about the fork or stem.
