What are these? pedals and odd frame clamps
I found these brand new frame clamps neatly stored in a plastic bag. I suspect I bought them fairly recently, but I don't know what they are or what they're for.
I also have these weird pedals. They're SPD on one side. The other side has these plastic bolts as if I'm supposed to mount something there. Maybe I could mount a platform to which I could attach PowerGrips. Anyone know the original intention?

Those nylon cable clamps look like they're made for attaching the clear plastic chainguards that come on Redline bikes. Or at least that's what the ones I have look like.

I agree thats what they look like to me. the pedal.... just one of the many 'clipless' designs that never took off

Aha. I do have a plastic chainguard. I bought it, intending to put it on my fixie, but the bike got stolen. 
What do you suppose the idea of the non-SPD side of the pedals is?

Yes, SPD's will fit on one side. Why does the other side have those bolts?

I would speculate that they are for using a normal shoe (not a bike shoe). They take the place of a cage (!?)
