How to restore old trek

I'm missing the head badge and a few decals from my trek. I was wondering if anyone knew a good place to purchase this kind of stuff that won't break the bank. Thanks for looking.

Trek has has several head badges over the years, without knowing the year of your bike there is no way to tell what
one you need. Go to vintage-trek.com

Check with JR over at VeloCals.com He has decals for many vintage Trek models:

He's been dealing with family member health and personal health issues over the last few months but I talked to him today and I think he's probably "back" as it were.

My decal sets for two bikes and rims shipped today so I'm happy :)

I have a 1983 trek 520, and a 1991 Trek 400

Head badges for '83s come up every now and then on ebay, but they're usually not giveaways. The '91 should be more common and easier to find. But I don't have any extras, sorry. I bought my '83 seat tube & tubing decals from VeloCals. The head badge came from a BForumite.

Check with your local Trek dealer. They may have the head badges in stock. 83 and 84 are usually a gold tone "T". I have heard of folks writing Trek and they were sent the head badge free of charge.

I just need a head badge for my 91', model number sticker, and a chain stay sticker. Velo cals does not carry that. i need it in purple.

E-mail JR, he can change up the colors easily enough if he has a sample or something else to go by. He'll work with you.

I'm thinking that this would be a cool kit for an old Trek
