Prologo Leathertouch leather bar tape - anybody have an opinion?

I'm considering putting leather tape on my bars and came across this Prologo stuff for $30. That's CHEAP! But I can get Velo Orange tape, which I trust, for $45 or I can do the shellac over cork thing for $15. So before I throw away $30, I wanted to know if anyone's used it before. Anybody ever try it? Thanks!

I bought some of the Prologo in black but haven't installed it yet. I do have the V-O leather tape on my Ebisu, and I like it a lot. It's been exposed to lots of wet weather and has held up great.

Does the prologo look nice? Is it as thick as the VO?

I like leather bar tape and have tried Brooks, Nashbar and Velo Orange. I haven't tried Prologo but RealCyclist does have a super sale so I am going to give them a try. I will post my opinion when I get them. So far I like the Velo Orange stuff best for value and quality. The Brooks stuff is just too expensive and not that much better (although the wood plugs are kind of cool) and the Nashbar stuff looks alright when you finally get it wrapped but it has no adhesive backing and is flat - the center is the same thickness as the edges. It is a real pain to wrap smooth and I usually have to wrap it two or three times to stretch the leather to lay flat. The others are thinner on the edges and the Prologo stuff also looks thinner on the edges. That is easier to wrap smoothly. The Nashbar tape results in a more pronounced ribbed look if you like that. It also looks like it has a seam and the Nashbar stuff has one also. You have to try and get the seam under the hods and overwrap around the levers.
