Chater-Lea Revival (Rebirth?)

I just got this email from Chater-Lea:

Thank you again for your interest in Chater-Lea.

We’re flattered by the level of curiosity and goodwill our revival is inspiring. Led by an ex-pat Brit, our Anglo-American team is in the early stages of work on a catalog of components. We’re unveiling details carefully in the interest of over-delivering on expectations. In the coming months we will welcome your feedback on our initial product designs.

Until then, what we can share is this: we are passionate about British cycling heritage, UK manufacturing, and authentically artisanal production. We believe the current climate provides excellent conditions in which to reintroduce a celebrated brand rich in history, heritage and innovation.

We're so excited about the journey before us and grateful to be sharing it with you.

Interesting. When I rehab or restore my track bike I have C-L cranks on it, and I have only the one chainring for it (23T or 24T IIRC).

I will place this in the "kickstarter" / vaporware file till real product is in the pipeline.
Always a bit concerned when the marketing far outpaces the product in the timeline.

I was going to, but I thought for sure you'd do it if i forgot. I made myself a note of it, and wrote "important" on it underlined three times in red crayon (feeling very dynamic that morning) but my dog ate the note and then, sure enough, I forgot. I was busy, enjoying the summer and all, you know?

Anyway, that's my excuse. What's your excuse?

Such an optimistic part of the year! On the first day of spring you can celebrate the season of rebirth by starting the monthly "Chater Lea is reborn thread.

excellent idea. With the advantage of my time zone I might have every chance of claiming the first thread of September on the rebirth of Chater Lea. If I am prepared, I could also prepare a neatsfoot oil thread and insert it straight after.
I will be on a roll. Now off to update my Calendar reminders.
