cheap 10 speed.
With spring coming and yard sale bikes around the corner I thought it would be fun to start an oddball thread to honor the other junk. When spring gets here lets see who can find the coolest bike for under $5.00. The clean it up,take a pic and donate it to a worthy cause. Its a great way to help those in need. Then share our stories here.

I did something similar to that last year. I picked up an old beat down orange AMF Scorcher 10 speed (no pics, sorry!) for cheap. About 30 min. of tinkering and another 2 hours with a wire brush and it was a respectable looking bike. As respectable as a gaspipe AMF Scorcher could get anyway.

The old E-Z ROLL was donated to Bicycles for Humanity. We checked it over, refurbished as required, and gave it to a handicapped person in Thunder Bay. At the moment, the kids at one of our local high schools, are refurbishing another one, this time with a custom paint job, once again to be given to a handicapped individual. Can't wait to see that one finished...
