well since this thread was revived I guess I get to post again? I came about reviving my bike buying/collecting bug by accident a few years ago. I was offered out of the blue a chance to buy a second Proto with MAX tubing and I jumped right on it.
funny thing is another member here used to own the bike aswell, and the serial number is about 5 away from my original. here it is as I got it but I made a few changes such as Campi cranks and brakes, different stem and seatpost (the carbon was cracked!)

Here is my late 80's Bianchi Grizzly, outfitted with brown quick brick tires and brown Oury grips, and some awesome primal skeletal brake levers, and a Marco Pantani Celeste saddle.

Here's my 1991 Bianchi Ibex with a bunch of upgrades. Always had road bikes before this one and I love riding it!

my 2003 lynx is a utility/work/pleasure bike.
it now has a gps mount on the handlebar to a) get me
lost, and b) to confirm i am lost. works VERY well for that!
i'm told it looks like a radar gun and to be sure to not get shot by irate motorists!
