11 speed cranks and ten speed chain

Hello,
I was thinking of upgrading my cranks to 11 speed Chorus 53/39.
I'm running 10 speed Centaur compact right now.
Would the ten speed chain affect/increase wear on the Chorus chain rings?
Would it affect shifting?
thanks

oops wrong forum
I'll try mechanics

It wouldn't increase wear on the rings, as a wider chain wouldn't really matter much to those rings.

The spacing between the plates is identical, the plate thickness has changed.
The front rings won't care either way...
