Vintage Louison Bobet Help Please
My late father bought a 15 speed Louison Bobet that he rode twice and almost killed himself so he never rode it again. It is a bright green color and I think the serial number is #6587. It has center pull brakes marked racer and Huret Allvit derailleur. On the front L Bobet metal frontplate is stamped 180. Sorry, I have no pictures. I think it is a "Sports" model. Is there any way to verify without pictures?
Thanks for your help!

Chantal - It would help greatly if you posted pictures, including a clear drive-side photo, to get a reasonably accurate appraisal.
- Also it is likely that the moderator will move this to the appraisal forum.

Louison Bobets were made in the usual French range of not very good to not too bad. Hopefully its one of the latter. Some info here:

Also, search this site. One was being discussed here a month or so ago.

If it's got a Huret Allvit rear derailleur, it's almost certainly one of the low end models. Definitely is, if we're talking late 60's/early 70's.
