Giordana XL_Strada: Anyone Familiar With This?

I picked up this bike off of CL and other than a 1993 Bikepedia entry, I did not see very much info. Anyone have any additional info on it?

Here goes a link to some Giordana framesets and the geometry.
It has a little info there also. I had an older Giordana made from SL with nearly an identical paintjob, I wish I still had it.

I was debating that one fender, but didn't feel like going out to glenn mills or wherever it was. Uber low end Campy.

Excell is VERY cool tubing and Dario Pegoretti built a least some of the Giordana frames. I don't know if this would be one, but he loved Excell and had a relationship with the Excell owner.

Cool bike!!

$150. Could have gone lower but I was on my lunch hour and had to get back. Also hard to negotiate price in a suit and tie.....

Yeah. I removed it to find 2 additional layers of electrical tape. In addition, the bar wrap had about 2 rolls worth of electrical tape on the brake hoods. Somebody sure liked to tape things with this bike.....

If nothing else, take some good sharp and complete pics of the Excell tubing and forkblade decals: you almost never see them and they could be valuable for future re-pops.
