I would like to know how much this bike is worth

I bought it for $90 from some guy named Igor. He said it had "full Campanelli?"

Anyway, my mother-in-law wants it, and I need to know how much to charge. I know it gotta be worth at least $1,000, if I sell it to my in-laws.

Yours from Spaceball City,

Looks like it has a genuine vintage Pletscher rack - these are going for a pretty penny on ebay these days all by themselves!
probably though your best bet is selling it locally - but not everyone will recognize it's full value, so you'll have to help them with some CL marketing:

"Rare vintage road bike - a mint condition lightweight full touring track bike that would make a great fixie with horizontal drop-outs. This one won't last." $1000 or trade for a CAMPAGNOLO EQUIPPED COLNAGO MASI MERCIAN WODDRUP DE ROSA PINARELLO CLAUD BUTLER BIANCHI HETCHINS PX10."

The bike is pretty good but it's a step down from top-of-the-line. You'd get more money by parting it out and putting the gruppo up on ebay then selling the bike as a whole.

Joe Campenelli makes good components! Igor is a great guy. He just sold me a bike ridden by Eddy Marx in the '69 Tour de France for only $75, 'caue he likes me! This baby has full Campenelli componentry, Columbo tubing, Mavis rims, 4TTTT stem, Sinello bars...the works!!! Weighs less than 40 freakin' pounds!!!!

Ran into Igor last night at the Barge Inn. Wishes everybody the best. Says he has a 25% discount this weekend for B.F members, plus his sister is available...her divorce went through!!! Took this picture of him. Nice guy, sharp dresser!

I don't know if I would let that go to my relatives, far too collectible. But hey, for a 1000 bucks, I may consider it.

It does need some safety levers though. How you supposed to stop that thing? Definitely Mother-in-law material.

Depends on how much your mother in law weighs That bike might not be heavy enough to keep the body from floating to the top of the pond.

You might look into a UO-8, they're perfect for that.
